The retort pouch then receives a heat process under pressure. The result is an attractive gold foil pouch containing medium-dry pacific wild salmon that can be stored at room temperature like any canned product Retort pouches do not require refrigeration.Our products are prepared and inspected to Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans AND Consumer and Corporate Affairs Canada standards. No additives, colouring or artificial preservatives are added. Prior to breaking the seal on the pouch, this product has an indefinite shelf life.
